Hi!
On previous episode (25), we ended on a panel where Pepper was punished and she had to read stacks of books. A possible interpretation was that books were boring!...Episode 26 was created to evacuate this faulty interpretation.

That's how "Books Are Great" was born. This episode shows without obviously telling how Pepper is slowly growing and evolving. This episode also fills a period undefined of time after the rebuild of the house. So, it will let me jump directly to a new arc on the next episode.
I hope you'll like this episode with its mix of adventure/comedy.

I love the "she's crazy" gesture at the end.

Your work always brings a small burst of pure joy into my life and makes me feel like a kid, watching a new episode of my favorite cartoon series.I miss those childish magical episodes where Pepper and Carrot would lie in the snow and make snow angels or girls would rush through a castle in a magical DnD game, but this doesn't mean I would want the Pepper series develop any other way.

Anyways, happy that a new episode of my favorite web comic is out. Great job, David, I don't think I will ever get tired of watching Pepper and Carrot have fun in the magical land of your imagination =)

I think this is my favourite episode so far. The art is breathtaking and reading this at HD resolution… just… wow. I'm super proud to be a part of this. Thank you for creating Pepper&Carrot.

Wow David, of all the webcomics I've read, yours is by far my most favorite! It's so rendered and I can see a lot of details and hard work put in every panel that I can just literally stare and take in every corner of the art for a very long time. Huge round of applause from me David, good job!

Thank you again for sharing Pepper and Carrot with us. My daughter and I are always eagerly awaiting the next episode. She was super excited and jumped for joy when I told there was a new one.

Hi David - great episode. I'm really enjoying redrawing elements such as the water-tree and 'thing'. Any chance you could update the sources/sketches - especially enviorments. Also they don't have to be cleaned up - any pencil/line works are awesome.
thanks for everything.

I would love so much two things about this cute comic, 1: I would like to see an animation adaptation, and 2: I would like that exist a video game about this comic, would be outstanding because of the beauty of the world. Thank you so much for this episode, waiting for the next one! :)

I read your webcomic a few days ago. It's so pleasant to come back and see a new chapter has been released! Thank you so much for your hard work. Do you think there will be a chance Pepper and Carrot gets an animation adaptation and a video game? I would so watch and play those games. :D

Loved this episode, and I like the moral of the story. Your comics are great to read and it brightens my soul. By the way, an artist friend of mine wants to turn my unpublished fantasy novel into a comic album. I hope to do it in the style of French Comics (though originally I saw it as a manga) and if and when I give him the printed pages, he will start.

It is set in a middle eastern region of a fantasy world inspired by the Islamic Golden Age, has alchemy instead of magic and has electricity, ammunition, air ships, swords, spears and different races. I truly hope to see my tale in print. I hope to see another one of your wonderful Pepper and Carrot stories. One more think, you mentioned that if anyone has a story project to let you know. I have a few ideas, so, if anything, I will be glad to hear from you, and thanks.

Love this in-a-life-time series. However, I still prefer quality than quantity. Marvellous work David!

I love it so much. When I grow up I want to become like you, David! But... Why don'you update this on tapas and webtoon ? You will be one of the most popular owners... Your work is B E A U T I F U L.
pleeease answer. With love. ~Alice

link David Revoy

Thank you very much for the feedback! I probably spend too much time on the creation of episodes and my GNU/Linux ecosystem. I invested not a big time in reposting my own work on other platforms. I'll have a look at tapas and webtoon. Do you have tips on how it is better for me to catch on, and post all previous episode? (like; posting them one by week, a special way to post, etc.) I'll be new if I register to this platforms and I'll probably need guidance from someone used to read comic on it.

link Una Polpetta

First of all, on webtoon you can find a lot of slice of life (I don't use it so much, when i wrote it was to make an example). Is up to you to decide if you want to update on tapas, webtoon or both of them (i think the best thing is to post it on both), you hrve to consider that webtoon is more popular than tapas. Personally I use Tapas more than of themwebtoon, because is more clean and uncluttered😅. In my opinion, if you post them one by week, or twice a week the readers amount will take place gradually, but if you post them on a block, maybe your readers will be more interested about your story... I suggest to post first the first episodes, and then post them once/twice a week. Yuo must consider that webtoon is completely free, instead on Tapas you have to pay if you want to read most of the comics, BUT you can also post your work for free and activate the button "tips", so your readers, if they want, will tip you (like patreon... i think)

link David Revoy

Thank you for all this details!
I'm adding them on my TO-DO list when I'll find a evening to register, create an account and start posting episode 1.
When I'll do, I'll probably also do a blog post here to share the news.

How's going on?🧡🧡

I love the way you succeed at being family-friendly. A guarding eye that can shoot deathly rays is a really scary idea; except the little burnt crisps of clothes and skulls are drawn so small that they hardly register. So basically, by the time you are old enough to notice them, you are old enough to handle the idea. Well played!

Amazing story as well as the amazing art work …

link G. A.

Phenomenal work as always, the art is beautiful! I love the idea of the photosynthetic spiders. Also, it's funny how the book is basically like a walk-through for a game. XD

link Zoya and Harrison

Thank you for making these amazing stories. We are 8 and 6 years old, and love reading them a lot! Harrison’s favorite character is Carrot. We contributed to your fund a couple of nights ago. We hope to see more stories from you soon. Harrison says that your stories are the best stories he’s ever heard in his life. He especially likes the story involving the poison blue mushrooms. Zoya says Please make more books! Zoya’s favorite character is Pepper.

link David Revoy Author,

Thank you very much Zoya and Harrison! Your words and support are precious. I hope you'll like the future episode 32. I'm working on it a lot now.

link Elizabeth Taghechian

Zoya says “Thank you! You are amazing looking forward to 32!"
Harrison says "cannot wait to read your next story .. it will be amazing! You are the best!"
