C'était justement le but de cette illustration: voir si avec ma nouvelle tablette je pouvais aller dans du technique, et aussi commencer par la lumière car ça m'est de plus en plus prioritaire dans une illustration (je viens de poster en dessous de l'illu une vidéo qui montre le début en noir&blanc).
I love how you colourized your greyscale underpainting. I hadn't considered doing it that way before. Can I ask what were your brush/layer settings when you started adding the coloured brushwork? I always struggle with washing out the prior brushwork at that step, or alternatively making things too dull

La nouvelle tablette a tenu le coup, j'étais curieux de voir si j'aurai toutes les subtitlités avec, et je suis content car ça a été le cas ☺️
@globcoco Alors je laisse ça a "Krita recorder" , un outil (déjà dans Krita, rien a installer externe) https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/dockers/recorder_docker.html , en gros, ça traque le fichier *.kra, et dès que je travaille dessus, ça enregistre des JPG du canvas dans un dossier temporaire. Donc coupure ou pas, ça continue dès que j'ouvre le fichier, il y a une option pour le mettre en permanance. Une fois fini, il y a une option pour transformer tous les JPG en animation, fichier MP4. Et ça fait ce que j'ai posté.
Impressionnant et kan tu le mets ici, il est pas trop lourd à exporter et surtout partager ? J'ai l'impression kil faut vraiment compresser les fichiers pour que ça passe mieux.
Au fait, je l'ai pas dit avant mais j'adore ta manière dont tu passes de "rough sketches" en noir et blanc à des sketches de plus en plus précis et des couleurs de plus en plus "sharp"
Pour l'optimisation, mes dessins sont souvent en plus que 4K, 16:9 ratio. Je demande à Krita Recorder d'enregistrer les copies du canvas en 1080p : 1920x1080pixels, et quand j'exporte je fais un 720p 1280x720pixels, a 30 images par secondes. Une ou deux minutes de ce format pèse rarement plus que 5MB, un truc assez acceptable pour partager en ligne. Quand c'est plus gros ou en 1080p, je poste sur Peertube et je mets le lien ici.
J'essaye de voir comment devenir abonnée avec mon compte masto... 😊
(Et aussi, comme je ne suis pas une super techie, faut aussi que je me trouve une instance adaptée d'ici la fin de l'année #jeprendmontempsetcestokay 😜)
@valentin_petzel Hi, Thanks! Possible. My anatomy skill is still far from being perfect and after more than 10h on a piece, I tend to become blind to obvious big mistakes. I'll discover it probably later.
I think anatomy is typically hard, because the brain is too used to it, so it spots things that are even slightly off quite quickly ... I personally suck at drawing, so I never get these things right 😅
@valentin_petzel I would have said the right leg is a little bit too long, the left is ok for me. But for instance the book seems centered and the right knee is going too far I guess.

I made this list of changes: - Longer hair, and she now use her hear on one side to keep a part, also, shorter haircut on front. - Larger shirt (see the sewing at the shoulders) and no tartan sock on forearm. Just a few design improvements to make her looks a little bit more cute and old.

@roaminchemicals Thanks! Yes, it's a very old method I had; I detailed it 10 years ago in this blog post: https://www.davidrevoy.com/article186/tutorial-getting-started-with-krita-2-3-colorize and in a nutshell; it's layers of color, then overlay, then mulitply + some filter adjustements.
