Book 4 is now available!

πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Pepper&Carrot book 4 is now available in shop!

⏩ English version, DriveThruComics
⏩ French version, Glénat publishing

I also recorded a presentation VLOG (short, 4min) to show you the book.

The video describes the English version (print-on-demand) and what I made on it with Free/Libre and Open-Source Software. It's always a difficult excercice to make a self-promotional video, so I hope I kept it short and informative.

Thank you if you take a book!

Thanks for all your work on this. Excited to have another great hardcover in the collection. My daughter only reads these in print and I'm excited to share these with her.

Yes, I ordered my copy in English too. Not sure how this printer operates, but wouldn't it have helped if we could preorder the book in advance so that the printer might have been able to work more efficiently if they could fulfill a large batch of orders at once? I can imagine most people who already have bought the earlier books will want this one anyway.

Either way, excited!

link David Revoy Author,

Thank you!
The machines that print the books behind drivethrucomics does print-on-demand; and they output directly the full book done, one by one. So, compare to 'offset printing' there is not a big advantage to print a batch; the really big advantage is that drivethrucomics (and me) don't need to stock many pre-printed books. Only what's necessary is printed. But I think I also remember now they propose their services linked to crowdfunding; where they reduce the price if they have a large batch (maybe they switch to offset printing in this case). So, that might be something I'll need to explore for book 5. I hope you'll do a good reception of your book 4.

Got my copy in the mail earlier, it looks great next to the other volumes! I loved reading these chapters again in physical form - and ponder on how nicely the story is evolving, because I definitely wasn't expecting these silly stories you did in chapter 1 to develop some actual plot.
