4 studies

Here is four studies I made recently to test new brushes and also to improve painting into a limited time.

Time budget: 30 min (the blue mountain), 45 min (the city in canyon), 1h (the watermill house, the bridge).

A speedpaint would be great on your youtube channel!

Hey, good idea. I recorded the process, and I just posted it on my Ytb channel! (unfortunately, the Peertube server has an issue, so I probably will need to wait a bit)
I still haven't posted the article here, or linked it on social networks; I'll do that later tomorrow.

The "windmill house" looks like a watermill.

All very nice paintings for the limited time budget.

The second picture with mountain, it looks like Matterhorn from Switzerland, btw all paintings are very nice as well

Thanks!
I was inspired by a mix of Canigou and Pic du Midi in Bigorre mountains; but I changed the shape for matching the composition I had in mind. I had a look at the Matterhorn. What a giant! and that flat/clean edge. It looks sculpted by titans. Thanks for the discovery, now I want to travel to see it IRL :-)
