The Treasure

Source, layers and high resolution here

Thanks all for suggesting purple color for the dragon, it was a good choice. The test was ok, I'll keep this setup (the XP-Pen Artist Pro 24) a little bit longer on my desk as my main device.

This is such a beautiful painting! And I'm so happy you went with my suggestion, it look great as I imagined it! :D

A drawing outside the context of the main story is fun! What's going on? She's wading knee-deep in gold but still goes for the treasure the dragon is holding. What's in there? Ko? Rea? Pancakes?

¡Awesome poster! O, gold money in left/bottom, I think in sketch strange rock in caves (cave often have strange and beautiful rocks).

Questions: why dragon have gold or any think humans like? They use it buy stuff like food, nail and teeth clean service? How dragon get gold, work night shifts in banks? Ha, ha, ha.

Gorgeous piece!

There's no pink at all on the skin of the dragon in this drawing, neither any small green disks. I'm soooo disapointed. Colour scheme should be revisited from ground to top, otherwise Pepper will be very angry, I can assure you. Be carefull, this girl has the reputation to have magic triks :/

What ? The door is at the end of the corridor on the left ? Oh, okay, I'll go :)

You should add this as a wallpaper!!

link David Revoy Author,

Oh! That's a good idea.

link David Revoy Author,

Thanks!
I think dragons have gold because humans give them a lot accross the centuries to not attack villages, to protect them. Humans are not really good at guessing what would please this giant creatures, I'm pretty sure the first humans tried to do fishing with strawberries or with food they liked. xD

Awesome! I noticed that there are no longer various resolution options for your wallpaper; why did you erase those? It made it super easy to choose one, especially for your phone.

link David Revoy Author,

Hey! When I rewrote the website; I checked on my (android) phone, and the wallpaper feature had an interface that let user manage the crop of the area. So, I thought this type of feature was classic (same as for desktop; auto-scaling the artwork to width, or height, etc....). I took decision to provide only the best resolution I could and let user/wallpaper interface manage the crop/scaling. Maybe I was wrong? It simplify a lot of management here (especially for adding a new wallpaper).

Well, at least mine doesn't do it. But I wouldn't want you to add more works... Maybe just link somewhere to the previous crops you have already made?

link David Revoy Author,

Hey, I added the task to my TODO; you'll find the old content temporary on this directory: http://peppercarrot.com/0_sources/0ther/archive/ when this one will disapear; it means the content was ported fully to the wallpaper page.

A question remains: why does the cat have a pan on its head ?

That's part of Carrot's armor. See https://www.peppercarrot.com/en/viewer/misc__2016-11-29_fight-against-CDN-article_A_by-David-Revoy.html and https://www.peppercarrot.com/en/viewer/misc__2016-11-29_fight-against-CDN-article_B_by-David-Revoy.html for other examples (from the Fight against CDN article).

He's also ready for battle at the tail-end of episode 19 (https://www.peppercarrot.com/en/webcomic/ep19_Pollution.html) if you scroll to the bottom of the page.

So yes, he's ready for battle, but only just.
