Derivation: Cut-out character asset project by Nikolai Mamashev

Published on

Nikolai Mamashev published two blender models (rigs), both models are available for free to download and use under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license ( it's behind a Pay-what-you-want service, please support is work ).

I really like the style and simplification done with his design style. I think the volumes works really well together for 3D or dynamic animations. His work can also be used as a model-sheet to build a 3D model. Thanks him for sharing the result in a permissive license!

If you want to know more, check the interview of Nikolai published on the friendly blog of the Morevna project.

I believe it's better to say "pay-if-you-want" instead of "pay-what-you-want", because you can download the model for free. ^__^

@Konstantin Dmitriev : Thank you ;-) I'll fix it!

Pay-what-you-want is the correct phrase for natural sounding English.
