Making-of Pepper&Carrot ep4

Published on

Here under is the full making-of of the episode 4 of my webcomic Pepper&Carrot : The format is a bit weird because it was at the origin a PDF booklet I sent to only my patron on Patreon. Nowadays, I decided to not hide resources, knowledge or tutorial behind a paywall. That's why I release this version adapted for the blog.

the fact that you really have a cat and it was your inspiration, that's fricken awesome. I first found out about your work on imagur a while ago (before episode 2), and holy shit I think it is awesome that you are still going on strong. Wish you the very best!

The perspective tunnel animation was awesome!! it really adds a lot of interactivity and immersion to the Pepper and Carrot comic :D it delights to see how you combine different tools to achieve effects, realism and awesomeness!

P.S. how did you model the pumpkin in Blender? :)

link David Revoy Author,

@Jose Navas : Thank you!
The pumpkins is just a sphere with selecting a edges of the sphere ( a long vertical ) every 3 subdivision, then when all are selected, shrink them. Overall proportion are then tweaked with the ProportionEditingTool , and the tail is a little cylinder extruded :)
