Sketchbook, 6 pages of October 2012

Published on

I scanned 6 pages of my sketchbook done last weeks. I'm working on getting my pencil line cleaner. I also bought cheap colored pencils, and I had fun playing with them. There is also 2 fan art (top right) for Final Fantasy 8 Linoa and (under) Shell from Portal 2

(Portal is property of Valve, Final Fantasy property of Square Enix)

Great sketches, rather inspirational with the color pencils, I need to give mine a whirl one of these years :)

link David Revoy Author,

Hey :) Thanks !
Good if those drawings gave you inspiration to give a bit of color in your sketchbook.
A little colored background behind a drawing makes all :)

super works.. the first one's expression is too good and the top angled drawing reminds to study more about prespective views... every face having something special and differ from each other... great....:):):):):):):)

Cool sketches! I like the use of shadows and drawings of Ga'Hoole! :)

No offense but in my opinion these sketches and especially the linework of them look much more alive and dynamic than the ones you did with mypiant or krita. It seems impossible to simulate those characteristics of a sketch with a wacom. Anyway. Your sketches are well done.

link David Revoy Author,

@Fred : Hey Fred, you are right ; more and more I see I produce very stiff work with digital only, while I can have more life going on paper with pencil :)

@Marcus : :) thx

@Grace : Thanks Grace !
