Scary Cute Scarecrow
Transcript:
A comic strip in four panels:
Panel 1: In the middle of a field of dry wheat ready to harvest, not far away from a farm, stands a cute, young feminin scarecrow made of straw, sticks and old clothes. A crow lands on her, followed by a flock of crows in the distance. She looks worried.
Panel 2: The cute scarecrow is humiliated: the crows are not afraid of her; they mock her, make faces at her, take selfies with her and one even poops on her hat. Meanwhile, many of them are eating the precious seeds on the ground. She feels sad about it.
Panel 3: The cute scarecrow then has an idea and say something with a wink to the crows around her. All the crows interrupt their business and look at her in horror and shock.
cute scarecrow: I like pineapple on pizza.
Panel 4: Happy ending, the flock of crows flies away and the cute scarecrow is happy: she has done her job correctly.

Okay, I am now tempted to try pomegranate, since I really like these, plus I can actually imagine it. Pear I heard of, but I don't think I try that. Banana and Kiwi I heard and definitely won't try, but to each their own preferences :)

Oh, this is also very much a real life thing, especially in Switzerland, where you historically have lots of Italians. I had a co-worker once with Italian roots, and even though I like pineapple on Pizza, I don't always need it. However, whenever I went out eating with him along, I made sure to order pineapple, just for the facial expression and sometimes discussion.

And I think it's great because it reminds me of a time where ppl on the internet fought over vi vs Emacs or which Linux distribution is better instead of drowning the place with fascist trash.

@FoxbrushTailwag @schnittchen banana on pizza is a big thing in Sweden, and last time we were at a pizza place there, I decided it was time to give it a try. I expected it to be blah but it was not at all as expected...
Pear was my favourite. The first try was in Austria, 50 meters from the border to Italy. Pear, honey & walnuts.. That pizza was amazing.

@mangeurdenuage Really? Popular in Canada? Here in France it is a pretty popular topping option too, but also still very divisive for the taste and opinion of each one. Often called the "Hawaรฏan Pizza" on menus, btw.

I never understand the hate. Its exist so many weird variants and someone choose too make the pinapple to the enemy.

There's a tv show where a girl going to high school wanted to go to acting club. However, she is shy and when she is shy she tuned to #scarecrow. Meaning Her eyes turned dazed and her arms fling straight across like a scarecrow.
It is because her job back in the country was to be a scarecrow attracting all animals away form a farm.

I do like pineapple but it has to be with certain combinations of toppings. I tried just adding it to a supreme pizza and I did not care for the result
But I suppose "I have nuanced opinions about pizza toppings" would do just as well to scare the crows off. :P
