Panel 1: A princess kneels, holding the body of her dying knight.
Princess: Oh no, my knight! You can't die on me like this!
Knight: It's... too late... I've lost too much blood...
Panel 2: The princess is suddenly amused by an idea while the knight dies even more quickly.
Princess: Wait a minute... Of course!
Knight: gasps
Panel 3. The princess pulls down a control panel like a store shade, and the user interface appears behind her. With a finger, she toggles a switch on the "Blood" line from ON to OFF, making a small 'click' sound. The panel is titled "Settings", and also has options for "Music", "Sound Effects", "Mini-Map", and "Language".
Panel 4: The princess looks happy, and the knight sits up in disbelief — there is no more blood on his armour!
Knight: Wow! What sorcery is this?!

@hj Hehe, I'm jealous of what this author did: go into full blood representation without hesitation. Here, I decided to make the blood on the armour of the young knight almost not visible, to avoid shocking the audience with problem at sight of blood and keep the strip for all audience. That was a thin line to walk on 😆

It does exactly this but with a different setting. You literally save someone’s life by changing an in-game setting 😆

@Sobtanian @njamster actually, this ”trick“ was used in ”Chaos on Deponia“ as well (part 2 of the ”Deponia“ adventure series).
At one point one has to switch off the background music in order to memorise a password on the way through the map.

@seabass Yes! All the fields are totally translatable in the SVG layer for text https://www.peppercarrot.com/0_sources/miniFantasyTheater/lang/en/015.svg (that was a pain to do with text effects ). It's not really a large field, language like "Occitan Lengadocian", or "Bahasa Indonesia" will problably find that challenging 😅

It's pretty great... it gets a bit bogged down in its own complications and somewhat tedious after the first big story ark about Agatha and the castle is resolved, but I think it picks up steam again later. The first years are pretty awesome and funny

@Quantensalat Girl Genius is absolutely and stunningly brilliant and a wonderful read. But I have to warn you, having done it myself, that if you start at the beginning at the very frame number one, you will enjoy yourself greatly, but you will lose about two and a half months of your life. And the time jumps are a little.....frustrating... Yeah, that.

That's so wrong. That's funny.
Reminds me of a film called Last Action Hero. Near the end, Arnold's character was bleeding a lot. Once he was able to return to his fantasy movie world, the loss of blood turned to a flesh wound and a minor scratch.
