Very nice. :) It reminds me of one of my few wonderful and precious art books "Framed Ink - Drawing and Composition for Visual Storytellers" by Marcos Mateu-Mestre. ๐ค
@Neotheta That's mainly the Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen Brush White 101, B, a good pen with a brush tip; it's not 100% covering the black, but that let a little room for some modeling of light. At the double page 3 (Alice falling) I started to add also a Uni-Ball Signo broad UM-153 White. I tested it on a shop in a corner of my sketchbook. this one is super white and thin with a ball-pen gel ink tip. I use it for star, thin light, rim light, highlight.

And so are we all, I guess. Must be very relevant for some dark stories, or parts of stories, when one is having nightmares, or feels sad ...

I have read in
โhttps://www.heise.de/news/Donald-E-Knuth-Der-Informatik-Papst-wird-80-3936496.html (German) that Donald Knuth of TeX once said in https://yewtu.be/watch?v=BxQw4CdxLr8 that breakthroughs in mathematics were hold back because nobody handed out blocks with triangles to mathematicians. (See image in heise article)
In other words: Changing the medium can liberate the creativity.

oh wow, I had no idea these existed! Stunning.

What type of pen is it? I have a black notebook and wanted to use metallic pencils to it, but they were a bit underwhelmingly dim.

davidrevoy
@jerry "Both? Both. Both is good." ๐
But also a bit of jefferson airplane "white rabbit" , alice in madness, and arthur Rackham illustrated version.
