Very nice workflow. Tutorial was quick and to the point and the results were very good. I have to agree with Ramon, your voice is just fine. In fact I think by adding your comments into these tutorials, you can convey your methods even more.

Thanks again and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Steve

Hi David,

I know you mentioned you used GTK RECORD MY DESKTOP how long did it take to convert (encode the screen recording) tutorial or is there an option to speed this process up I have done a 2 min quick video and its taking about 6/7 Min's before I can watch it back. P.S I have a fast computer system. Also I know you are an artists but I would love to see quick tut on how you use Blender to edit your videos for speed painting / time lapses.

Thanks in advance Steven

@Numarul7 : Thanks for the timelapse smile As the DVD is in Creative Commons - By ( David REVOY/ Blender Foundation ) this torrent is totally legal, and I'm even happy if their is 6 seeders to share the huge 8Go of content... not easy !
Just for those who want to pay the DVD, remember the money goes to the Blender Foundation and a little part for me each 1000 DVD sold smile It always helps. But I'm always happy to see interest around my Dvd. I'm heaven a bit curious why I haven't seen it yet all the content posted by a user on Youtubes or Vimeo. I shall may be do it myself with the agreement of the Blender Foundation:)

It would be possible to convert these drawings of MyPaint and Gimp for cmyk mode in Krita ? I have not seen you illustrating in Krita. Cmyk mode is not reliable in this software or is it merely a matter of preference? Thanks David.

monday 17 january 2011, 21:02

Hi Lisa,
Yes, Krita and CMYKTool are two solution for CMYK convertion. I didn't get the time to test it in depht the CMYK in Krita. The main reason is here I still use my licence of Adobe Photoshop CS2 running with Wine to do a conversion at the end, and some color correction for the printing. This allow me a 100% compatibility with the Adobe design/graphic workflow of my clients.

Hi David. Great Job.

Only one question. In witch website is disponible the "Sketch brush pack"? I see that you use in various videos

friday 11 november 2011, 01:43

@Itzcuauhtli :Thanks ! The 'sketch' brush pack was a experimental group I produced at this time to create a good set of pencils and erasers.
Now, all this brush and erasers are merged in the 2 first row of my brush kit , you can download it here : http://www.davidrevoy.com/index.php?article55/mypaint-v4-brushkit.
I wish you good painting time with Mypaint wink
