My name is David Revoy, and I'm a French illustrator.
I am 32 years old, and I have more than 10 years of experience as a freelancer.
I have a bachelor’s degree in design/art, but most of my artistic education came from self-training.
That's why I prefer to consider myself a self-taught artist.
I work remotely from my home-studio for book or board-games publishers and digital media publishing firms from all around the world.
I also work occasionally on:
- art-direction, concept-art or visual development for video games and movies.
- teaching and doing educational materials, workshops, etc.

Open-source :
I'm also involved with contributing to the development of open-source solutions since 2009.
I was a pioneer in using open-source digital-painting solutions on Linux for my professional usage.
This personal choice is totally transparent for my clients, as I keep working with the same files, formats, standards, etc...
